Hi, I'm Delaney.

I'm a Jewish matchmaker, coach and confidante to 2,000+ Jewish singles in their 20s and 30s across the USA. I match people based on shared values and a soul-level connection, bringing the wisdom of traditional Jewish matchmaking into a format made for my peers.

I grew up in Baltimore, and Jewish community has been part of my life everywhere I've gone: Hebrew School at my Conservative synagogue, sleepaway camp at Emma Kaufman Camp out of the Pittsburgh JCC and Capital Camps out of the JCC of Greater Washington, BBYO locally and internationally, working at Camp Barney Medintz out of the Atlanta JCC, and March of the Living. At the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), I was very involved with Chabad. That's where I set up my very first match that ended in marriage, and it really kicked off this whole shindig!

Post grad, I have lived in Arlington, VA, Chicago, St. Pete, Naples, and now Nashville. After struggling with dating at home in the Baltimore area, trying different ways to meet new people, I threw caution to the wind and followed the saying משנה מקום משנה מזל: if you change your place, you change your luck. So I picked a place that felt ~my vibe~, where I thought I might meet someone who was also ~my vibe~, and went with it after only one visit.

After one long, wonderful, emotional year of dating with intention and a lease that was just about up, I thought maybe this wasn't the right move. The Jewish community was really small, and I felt I had dated every eligible Jewish man in town. It was January and a bit too cold for the beach in St. Pete, so I went down to visit friends in Naples for the weekend, where I matched with my nice Jewish husband on a dating app! We spent about a year and a half in Naples before relocating to Nashville, where we got married in November of 2025.

After October 7th, 2023, so many people in my circles were craving Jewish connection more than ever. A friend asked me to help him find his bashert, saying, "I know you've set people up successfully before!" I said I'd give it a try, and I met with 15 wonderful women, friends of friends. None of them were his match, but every one of them was looking for the very same thing he was. That's when I knew: there were so many amazing Jewish singles ready to meet each other, they just needed a little help from a friend! In 2024, I took the leap and started Dating by Delaney to help create more strong Jewish families, starting with strong Jewish relationships.
